you could try mentioning it around /. & usenet & the appropriate irc channels, but of course you risk being destroyed for being a lame advertising fucknut.

anyhow, yes, my barrette is very hot. i expect to get oh-so much geek sex from it. :D

they're nothing all that special. but i have stretched earlobes, so anything that'll fit inside 1/2" could be worn as ear jewelry.

hmm. now i'm considering a use for two of the chips i pulled off the back of that simm before i glued it to the barrette clip. ;>

You know what else would make cool jewelry? Those little, square case badges that have the clear "bubble" top and pic underneath. The ones you stick on the front of your pc. Here's some examples:

You can have them custom made too, or you can make yer own.

hah. i had not previously been aware of these things, but they're incredibly silly.

i've made some pretty cool plugs from clay, too:

they're safe to wear if they're wrapped in teflon tape.

Mmm, those look like candy. ;)

Here's another pic so you can see how small those case badges really are. http://212.67.202.14/~chris-0/acatalog/Basic_Products.html

it's tempting to have a bunch of pornographic ones printed to leave on friends' machines, see how long it takes them to notice. is that wrong?

No, I don't think that's wrong.

Now, bumperstickers would be wrong. LOL!

A Thought From Gizmo_T_Great!

I had an Idea a while back, involving making circuit board art, using old pcb's and led's. Some boards (Motherboards/pci cards) have some interesting tracking designs and patterns, which could be circuited to make awesome flashing designs with led's.

Powered by a 9v battery and hung like a wall clock...

That clip looks cool tho ;)
